CLASS OF 1970 ST PIUS X HS AND SLHS 40th "July 3rd and 4th was a gorgeous holiday weekend and a hugely successful 40th Reunion for the class of 1970 from Saranac Lake Central and Pius X high schools! Friday the 3rd, alumni gathered at The Red Fox for cocktails and hors d'oeurves and lots of reniniscing! Then on the 4th, it was grillin' and chillin' at Mt Pisgah on a chamber-of-commerce day. Check out the photos!

2005 The class of 1970 from Saranac Lake Central high school recently gathered for its 35th reunion. On a chamber-of-commerce day at Mt. Pisgah, we ate a lot of food and shared alot of memories.

SLHS and Pius X Class of ’71 Plan 40th Class Reunion
March 20, 2011
Saranac Lake – The 40th reunion of Saranac Lake High School and Pius X Class of 1971 will take place on July 1 through July 3, 2011. Plans include following activities.
The event will start with an informal homecoming gathering at the Waterhole #3 at 6 pm Friday July 1. On Saturday July 2, a cocktail reception and dinner at the Elk’s Club in Saranac Lake will start at 5 pm. At 8 PM, the Bernie Branch Band will provide music for dancing, which will be open to visitors for a $5 admission. Other graduates of SLHS and Pius X are encouraged to attend and celebrate with us.
On Sunday, July 3 at 10 AM, a Mass will be offered for the deceased members of the Class of 1971 at St. Bernard’s Church. At 1pm, a class picnic will be held at Butch Blanchard’s home.
Prepaid reservations are required for the Saturday night dinner and must be received by June 15, 2011. Cost of the Saturday night event is $40 per person. Those wishing to be included in a class reunion portrait should include an additional $15 with their reservations. Payment via Pay Pal or personal check should be made to Brian McClatchie at:brain44@comcast.net.
